Board of Directors
Maria Dailey
Co-founder
Maria started the Christopher Dailey Foundation with Mark in December 2001. Together, with a strong board of directors, they began fundraising with the goal of building and fully paying for a memorial gymnasium in honor of their middle child, Christopher. After achieving this objective, the fundraising and donations continued, and have ever since. Maria’s involvement with the Foundation encompassed a broad range of duties, all of which she did with gusto and determination. This included serving as the chief financial officer and working tirelessly to pay off the $820,000 mortgage (in 8 years’ time) on the Christopher Dailey Memorial Youth Gymnasium. Maria is a retired Nurse, earning her BSRN in 1987 and working as a floor nurse for over 20 years. She continues to work towards maintaining the momentum of the Foundation through her institutional knowledge of our fundraising events. Maria enjoys cooking, tending to her gardens, hiking and traveling.
