25th Annual Christopher Dailey Foundation 5K Turkey Trot - November 26, 2026

Every Thanksgiving morning, the streets of downtown Saratoga Springs come alive with the energy of runners, walkers, families, and friends gathering for the Christopher Dailey Memorial 5K Turkey Trot. This community tradition kicks off bright and early at 8:30 AM on Thursday, November 26, 2026, starting in front of City Hall at the corner of Broadway and Lake Avenue and finishing near the corner of Route 50 and North Broadway.

What began in 2002 as a heartfelt way to honor the memory of young Christopher Dailey has grown into an honored Family Tradition for so many. Participants of all ages and abilities lace up their sneakers (and sometimes don festive turkey outfits and others!) for a fun, 5K run/walk that celebrates family and community.

All proceeds from the Turkey Trot directly support the Christopher Dailey Foundation, which supports a variety of needs in the Saratoga County region. The Foundation supports food/nutritional assistance as well as programs that help children with physical and intellectual disabilities, addressing and creating active, fulfilling lives for kids and families. The CDF continues supporting local youth sports leagues and booster clubs as well.

Whether you're a seasoned runner chasing a personal best, a family making it an annual tradition, or someone simply looking to start the day with gratitude and movement, the Christopher Dailey 5K Turkey Trot welcomes everyone. Registration opens in September 2026, with early-bird pricing at $30 (increasing to $35 closer to race day). Team sign-ups are encouraged, and a special family plan discount is available for families of four (including two children under 14).

Come join the trot, burn off some pre-feast calories, and help make a lasting difference in our community.

26th Annual Christopher Dailey Foundation Golf Tournament Spring 2027 – McGregor Links Country Club, Wilton, NY

Every spring, on the Monday before Memorial Day Monday, friends, family, and members of the Saratoga community come together at McGregor Links Country Club in Wilton for the Christopher Dailey Memorial Golf Tournament. The Tournament, now in its 25th year, began in 2002 as a way to honor the memory of young Christopher Dailey and has since become one of the Foundation’s most important fundraising events.

All golfers   are welcome to join us.  Whether you’re a serious golfer looking to compete or simply want to spend the day with friends and family, this event offers a wonderful opportunity to give back while enjoying the game.

All proceeds from the tournament directly benefit the Christopher Dailey Foundation, helping to support children and families in Saratoga County. Funds go toward addressing food insecurity, programs for children with physical and intellectual disabilities, local youth sports leagues, and other vital initiatives that create active, fulfilling lives for our community’s kids.

Registration for the 2027 tournament will open in early spring.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses and individuals who wish to make a greater impact.

2nd Annual Christopher Dailey Foundation Bowling Tournament Strikes Big at Saratoga Strike Zone

The 2nd Annual Christopher Dailey Foundation Bowling Tournament took place on Sunday, March 22nd, from 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Saratoga Strike Zone in Saratoga Springs, New York. Once again, the event proved to be an outstanding success, with all 28 lanes completely sold out as enthusiastic teams filled the venue for an afternoon of friendly competition and community spirit.

Participants competed in a best-of-two-rounds format, battling for modest prizes awarded to the top three finishing teams (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place). 

 Pizza and soft drinks, are included with your registration.

All proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit the Christopher Dailey Foundation (CDF). Established in 2002, the CDF fundraising proceeds go toward addressing food insecurity, programs for children with physical and intellectual disabilities, local youth sports leagues, and other vital initiatives that create active, fulfilling lives for our community’s kids.

A huge thank you goes out to all the participants, sponsors, volunteers, and the staff at the Saratoga Strike Zone for making the 2nd Annual Bowling Tournament such a memorable success.
